Job Description

The Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) is a leading membership-based organization for NGOs in Cambodia with around 200 members both Domestic and Foreign NGOs working on various development sectors. CCC has been playing unique roles such as monitor , Coordinator, and Advocate to realize the enabling environment for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and sustained CSOs Resource Hub at the national and sub-national levels.

CCC delivers its mission and mandate through a single base program entitled “Governance Hub Program (GHP)” for 2024–2028, aiming to enlarge the enabling environment and democratic space for CSOs. CCC is working 1). to improve partnership and collaboration for advocacy and monitoring among different actors at the national and sub-national levels; 2). to strengthen the voice and representation of CSO networks including provincial NGO networks and provincial CPO networks; and 3). to establish and strengthen the function of CSO resource hub at the national and sub-national levels to respond to the needs of CSOs. Job Responsibilities & Duties
  • Key Functions:
  • Manage the project or program following the grant agreement of the donor.
  • Communicate with 10 project partners for capacity building, consultation, joint collaboration, and inputs.
  • Revise the annual budget plan and activity plan.
  • Maintain good relations with donors and 10 project partners.
  • Major Responsibilities:
  • The Project Officer is expecting to achieve the following key performance output:
  • Develop the concept note for the workshops/meetings/trainings.
  • Manage the action plan and budget plan and propose to revise it under the consultation with cross-component or concerning staff.
  • Coordinate the concerning staff/relevant cross-component to implement the activities
  • Produce the comprehensive report following the donor’s template
  • Write a case study/success story
  • Communicate and update the progress to donors and respond to any suggestion or requirement of donors.
  • Provide some trainings to project partner’s SCI and any members of CCC working to promote children’s rights.
  • Participate in the trainings or meetings proposed by 10 project partners SCI and donors.
  • Track the data for all done activities both in the Excel format and SRI (the online system developed by CCC).
  • Coordinate and/or collaborate with some project partner SCI to provide the capacity building to 16 provincial NGOs network across Cambodia.

  • Communication: Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills and good negotiations skills
  • Job Expertise: Performance day-to-day tasks; facilitate office administration and communication; facilitate participatory processes in decision making; coordinate with different stakeholders, training, monitoring, and report writing.
  • Qualifications Requirements:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor degree in Project Management or related field
  • Familiarity with project management and coordination with different stakeholders.
  • Experience:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience working with NGOs
  • Experiences in project management will be highly regarded
  • Well understanding about the related laws and draft-law: Law on Auditing and Accounting, Law on Association and Non-Governmental Organization (LANGO), Law on Taxation, Labour Law, Draft Law on Personnel Data Protection, relevant document/paper related to the children’s rights.
  • Experience in soft-advocacy.
  • Experience to provide training and NGOs coordination.
  • Language Requirements:
  • Fluency in English and Khmer
